European top for 3rd KDB Cup

The Catalan coach Pep Guardiola knows by now how important Kevin De Bruyne is for his star team. The 26 year old red devil turned out to be the strongman of Manchester City, who are slowly becoming unapproachable. Moreover, the Drongener was recently appointed captain of the Citizens.

In between, Kevin De Bruyne found the time to definitively oversee and approve the field of participants for the KDB Cup, the international U15 tournament to which the 58-time international is wholeheartedly committing his name. A collection of top international clubs, for the third edition of the Kevin De Bruyne Cup on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 June 2018 on the grounds of the East Flemish first division KVE Drongen.

The twelve European teams participating in the international U15 tournament in Drongen are thus definitively known. Manchester City, the employer of Kevin De Bruyne, will be present for the first time. The places of the previous winners Benfica and Barcelona are taken by the Turkish Besiktas and the Russian Zenit Saint-Petersburg, who make a first appearance in Drongen. KV Oostende defender Nicolas Lombaerts knows where he can encourage the young talents of his former employer.
